The Beach House

After the boat ride back, we arrived at the beach house. We were all very tired, so slept most of the afternoon. Adenilson made a fabulous pasta dinner at around 9:00pm. We sat and talked for a while, but didn´t last long before we were all snoring again.

This is the ocean access, in the front yard.
Pasta Dinner - Delicious!
The beach house - Designed by one of our hosts who is an Architect.
Arlaine and Charlie up early - enjoying the early morning view and shade.

People straggled out of bed at various times of the morning. I went for a walk along the beach. In 2 or 3 km, I only ran into 6 people - and five of them were in our group!

Sheila learned how to cook cheese!

Drinks in the afternoon with Big Paulo (I call him Big Paulo - my host is a different Paulo)

Charlie didn´t want to get wet - but the Brazilians had other ideas!
The water was very warm - just like a bath tub!

Bill decided he wasn´t going in the water...

so he and Arlene went for a walk along the beach.

Sheila thougth she would like to hold a hermit crab. A very cute little critter until is started coming out of it´s shell - then she started to get very excited and had to put it down.

Otavio took us for a ride in his 4 wheel drive along the beach and into the dunes!

We stopped at the bottom of a dune and climbed to the top. We didn´t know if Marilyn would make it!!

Charlie and Paulo weren´t far behind!

Here we are at the top of the dune! Great View - But very hard to get up here - every time you take a step in the sand, you sink backwards.

When we got back, Adenilson was busy at the BB´Q - another delicious meal!!

Arlaine and Sheila still had lots of energy - so they went for a horse ride.

Oops - Sheila had to much energy - and broke off his ear!!

We learned how to make Coconut Juice.
Marilyn likes the Cocunut milk too!!!

Lots of Coconuts in the yard!!

Marilyn and Paulo

We were all getting tired and ready to go home...

We headed back to the ferry.

By luck, we all ended up on the same ferry - good to meet our friends again so soon!

In the photo - Carla, Maria, and Marilyn

Arlaine thougth she would snap some more photos.

Charlie and Marilyn say GREAT Trip!!!!
